Example 1 — if Team A wins
Say Team A's odds are 2.25 in decimal, 5/4 in fractional and +125 in American. You place a ৳200 bet. If Team A wins, you receive ৳450 (৳250 profit + ৳200 original stake). If Team A loses, your ৳200 is gone.
Example 2 — favourite Team B
As Team B is the favourite, their odds are lower — decimal 1.50, fractional 1/2, American -200. American minus odds tell you how much you need to stake to win ৳100. With a ৳200 bet, if Team B wins you receive ৳300 (৳100 profit).
